Government Excellence Scholarships are awarded annually by the Swiss Confederation to encourage collaboration in education and research between Switzerland and Pakistan. The Federal Commission for Foreign Students (FCS) is responsible for selecting scholarship winners.

The Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships are designed for recent master’s or doctoral graduates from abroad in the fields of research and the arts from abroad.

Research scholarships

Researchers with a master’s degree or higher are eligible for the research scholarship (research fellowship, PhD, Postdoc) if they plan to study or conduct research in Switzerland at the doctoral or postdoctoral level.

All of the universities and research institutes in Switzerland are eligible to provide research scholarships, including the four research institutes and two federal institutes of technology. Only those who have been recommended by a professor or other academic advisor at one of these universities will be considered.

Objectives

Funding will be provided to successful candidates so that they may do doctoral-level research at one of Switzerland’s ten cantonal universities, two federal institutes of technology, public teaching and research institutes, or universities of applied sciences in Switzerland.

Only for use by full-time Swiss researchers.

Target Group

Graduate students and young doctors have extensive experience in their respective disciplines.

This is intended mostly for academics who have not yet visited Switzerland.

Eligibility Criteria

Master’s degree or equivalent by July 31, 2024 (excluding ETH Zurich, which requires completion by June 30, 2024). A degree has been earned.

To qualify, your birthday must be after December 31, 1988.

A timetabled research proposal.

Academic host professor recommendation letter (with brief CV) required.

Duration

The 2024-25 school year begins on September 1st, thus the scholarship can be used then.

Maximum of 12 months (begins in September).

No prolongation possible.

Amount

The fellowship provides a recurring monthly stipend of (1920 CHF which becomes 663,651 Pakistani rupees).

The scholarship money can only be used to pay for one person’s expenses.

This award is not a wage in any way.

 The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has unveiled a golden opportunity for talented students from SINDH GOV with its Undergraduate Scholarship Program. مٽياري/ ڀٽ شاهه (ٻيو ڏينهن) حضرت شاهه عبداللطيف ڀٽائي رح جي 280 هين عرس مبارڪ جي ٻئي ڏينهن تي ثقافت کاتي جي ميزباني هيٺ ٿيل لطيف ادبي ڪانفرنس ۾ اديبن، دانشورن ۽ محققن شاهه عبداللطيف جي آفاقي پيغام کي دنيا جي ڪنڊ ڪڙڇ تائين پهچائڻ لاءِ شاهه سائين جي سموري شاعري کي ڊجيٽلائيز ڪري ٽيڪسٽ، آڊيو ۽ وڊيو صورت ۾ آڻڻ جي گهر ڪندي چيو آهي ته ڀٽائي رح جي فڪر ۾ جديد دور جي انسانيت کي درپيش چينلجز ۽ ڏکيائين جو حل موجود آهي، شاهه سائين جي شاعري نه صرف سندس همعصر دور جي مسئلن جي اپٽار ڪري ٿي پر سندس عالمي ۽ آفاقي پيغام اڄ به اوترو ئي موثر آهي جيترو ٽي صديون اڳ هو، شاهه سائين جي شاعري جي اها منفرد حيثيت کيس مغربي ۽ مشرقي شاعرن ۽ مفڪرن کان ممتاز حيثيت ڏياري ٿي، شاهه لطيف جو پيغام عالم انسانيت تائين پهچائڻ اسان جو قومي فرض آهي. لطيف ادبي ڪانفرنس کي صدارتي خطاب ڪندي نگران وفاقي وزير تعليم، محقق ۽ دانشور مدد علي سنڌي چيو ته شاهه عبداللطيف ڀٽائي رح جو پيغام موجوده دور سان مطابقت رکي ٿو پر افسوس جي ڳالهه آهي ته اسان جي نئين نسل جو لاڙو ان طرف گهٽ آهي، پرائيويٽ اسڪول شاهه لطيف، بابا بلي شاهه، بابا فريد سميت ملڪ جي ٻين عظيم شاعرن جي فڪر ۽ فلسفي کان شاگردن کي اڻ واقف رکن ٿا جيڪا افسوس جي ڳالهه آهي، خانگي اسڪولن کي قومي ورثي ۽ قومي هيروز بابت مواد نصاب ۾ شامل ڪرائڻ جو پابند ڪيو ويندو. هن چيو ته 91 سال اڳ ڀٽ شاهه ڪلچر سينٽر ۾ ادبي ڪانفرنس جو رواج جي ايم سيد، مخدوم طالب الموليٰ ۽ ڊاڪٽر گربخشاڻي وڌو جيڪو تسلسل اڄ ڏينهن تائين قائم آهي، ثقافت کاتي شاهه جي ڪلام کي عام ڪرڻ لاءِ ڀرپور قدم کنيا آهن. ثقافت واري نگران صوبائي وزير سيد جنيد علي شاهه ادبي ڪانفرنس ۾ خطاب ڪندي چيو ته شاهه لطيف جي پيغام کي هٿي وٺائڻ لاءِ ڪميونيڪيشن جا جديد ذريعا استعمال ڪرڻ جي ضرورت آهي، ترڪي جهڙا ملڪ رومي جي پيغام کي آن لائين پورٽل ۽ ويب ٽي وي سيريز ذريعي ترقي وٺرائي رهيا آهن، ڀٽائي پيڊيا جهڙو پورٽل وڏي ڪاوش آهي، اميد ته دنيا ۾ لطيف جو پيغام پهچائڻ لاءِ ان جو موثر استعمال ڪيو ويندو. صوبائي وزير چيو ته جيڪڏهن اسان پاڻ پنهنجين مفڪرن ۽ بزرگن جي پيغام کي عام نه ڪنداسين ته ٻاهران ڪو ٻيو اچي اهو ڪم نه ڪندو، لطيف جي پيغام کي اثرائتي انداز ۾ قومي نصاب جو حصو بڻائي ايندڙ نسلن تائين پهچائڻ جي ضرورت آهي ان حوالي سان وفاقي وزير تعليم مدد علي سنڌي قومي سطح تي پنهنجو ڪردار ادا ڪري سگهي ٿو جنهن جو هي بهترين موقعو آهي. لطيف ادبي ڪانفرنس ۾ نامياري اديب تاج جويو چيو ته مرزا قليچ بيگ، ڊاڪٽر نبي بخش بلوچ شاهه جون مڪمل لغتون لکيون پر ان تي اڃان وڌيڪ تحقيق ڪرڻ جي ضرورت آهي، محققن ۽ عالمن جي گهڻائي جو تعلق شهرن سان رهيو آهي، ان ڪري اڪثر محققن پاران ڪيل لفظي معنيٰ ۾ ڪافي غلطيون آهن. ڊاڪٽر ادل سومرو پنهنجي مقالي ۾ چيو ته شاهه جي ڪيترن ئي همعصر شاعرن جا ديوان ويران ٿي ويا پر شاهه جو پيغام هر دور جو پيغام آهي ۽ رهندو. نامياري محقق ڊاڪٽر اظهر شاهه لطيف جي شاعري ۾ معلم يا استاد جي ڪردار تي پيش ڪيل مقالي ۾ چيو ته جيڪو شخص خود شناسي کان اڻ واقف آهي اهو خدا شناسي ۽ معرفت کان پڻ اڻ واقف ئي رهندو، جنهن معاشري جا استاد سٺا آهن ان معاشري کي ڪا پرواهه نه آهي. محقق مختيار ابڙو پنهنجي مقالي ۾ چيو ته شاهه جي شاعري ۾ انسانيت جو درد شامل آهي، جيئن قرآن جو موضوع انسان آهي تيئن شاهه جو موضوع پڻ انسان آهي، لطيف وحدت الوجود ۽ وحدت الشهود جو نه پر انسانيت جو شاعر آهي، سندس پيغام تي عمل ڪبو ته قوم بچندي نه ته ڪتابن ۾ به ذڪر نه ملندو. محقق شوڪت علي اڄڻ لطيف جي شاعري ۽ بين الاقوامي تبديلي جي موضوع تي مقالو پيش ڪندي چيو ته وجدان سائنس کان ٻه قدم اڳيان آهي، ڀٽائي سورمين ذريعي نفسياتي پهلو ڇيڙي پنهنجي شاعري ۾ تسخير ڪائنات فتح ڪرڻ جي ڳالهه ڪري ٿو جيڪو دڳ اسان کي سائنس ڏانهن وٺي وڃي ٿو. محقق حبدار جاگيراڻي مقالي ۾ چيو ته ڀٽائي پنهنجي پيغام ۾ هن دنيا کي مانجهاندي جو ماڳ سڏيو آهي پر ان سان گڏ جستجو تي پڻ زور ڏنو آهي، ڀٽائي جياپي جي وسيلن کي مقامي ماڻهن جو حق قرار ڏنو آهي. انور ساگر ڪانڌڙو پنهنجي مقالي ۾ چيو ته جيڪي ماڻهو روحاني پاڪائي تي ڌيان ڏين ٿا انهن کي صوفي چيو ويندو آهي، ڀٽائي پنهنجي پيغام ذريعي انتهاپسندي کي ٻنجو ڏنو. ادبي ڪانفرنس ۾ الطاف ميمڻ سميت ٻين محققن پڻ مقالا پيش ڪيا. ڊائريڪٽر جنرل ڪلچر منور علي مهيسر آجياڻو جڏهن ته سيڪريٽري ثقافت عبدالعليم لاشاري اختتامي خطاب ڪيو. ادبي ڪانفرنس ۾ برڪت فقير شاهه صاحب جي وائي پيش ڪئي، جڏهن ته فقير امتياز علي سنگ سميت “توڙي ڀال ڪريم جا، سهسين شڪرانا” پيش ڪري محفل ۾ موجود ماڻهن کي جهومائي ڇڏيو.

 لطيف ادبي ڪانفرنس ۾ سنڌي ڪمپيوٽنگ جي باني عبدالماجد ڀڙڳڙي پاران جوڙيل آن لائين ڀٽائي پيڊيا جي مهورت ڪئي، جنهن کي خطاب ڪندي عبدالماجد ڀرڳڙي چيو ته جديد دور جي تقاضا آهي ته موجوده نسل جنهن ٽيڪنالاجي تي وڌيڪ ٽائيم گذاري ٿو ته اسان ان تائين شاهه جو پيغام پهچايون، ڀٽائي پيڊيا جهڙو لامحدود ڪم آن لائين ڪرڻ وڏو معجزو آهي جنهن سان شاهه جي پيغام جي املهه خزاني کي دنيا سان ونڊڻ آسان ٿيندو جيڪا اسان جي ذمه داري آهي، ڀٽائي پيڊيا قائم ڪرڻ ۾ امر فياض ٻرڙو جون ڪوششون بي مثال آهن. هن چيو ته 1987 ۾ پهريون ڀيرو ڪاغذ تي سنڌي ٻولي پرنٽ ٿي جنهن کان پوءِ آهستي آهستي اخبارون، رسالا ۽ ڪتاب ڪمپيوٽر ذريعي ڇپجڻ شروع ٿيا. آن لائين ڀٽائي پيڊيا سافٽ ويئر ٺاهيندڙ ناليواري محقق عبدالماجد ڀرڳڙي تفصيلي بريفنگ ڏيندي ٻڌايو ته آن لائين ڀٽائي پيڊيا ذريعي شاهه لطيف جي رسالي گنج کان ويندي سڀني معتبر، محققن ۽ شاعرن جا ترتيب ڏنل رسالا ٽيڪسٽ جي شڪل ۾ آن لائين رکيا ويا آهن، ان کان سواءِ اردو، پنجابي، فارسي، انگريزي ۾ مختلف ترجمي نگارن جا ترجما هر بيت سان گڏ موجود آهن، آرٽيفيشل انٽيليجنس (هٿرادو ڏاهپ) وسيلي شاهه سائين جو رسالو دنيا جي 130 مک ٻولين ۾ مشيني ترجمي سان گڏ پڙهي سگهبو. هن ٻڌايو ته چين، روس ۽ فرانس ۾ ڀٽائي پيڊيا جي لنڪ اتي جي ادبي ويب سائيٽن تي شيئر ڪئي ويئي آهي جيڪو وڏو اعزاز آهي. ڀٽائي پيڊيا ذريعي شاعري ۾ آيل ماڳن مڪانن جا ڊجيٽل نقشا پڻ رکيا ويا آهن، جڏهن ته مختلف فنڪارن پاران ڳايل آڊيو ۽ وڊيو پڻ ٻڌڻ ۽ ڏسڻ سميت ڀٽائي پيڊيا جون ٻيون به ڪيتريون ئي خصوصيتون آهن.

آء بي اي سکر طرفان ايس ٽي ايڇ پي اسڪالرشپ جو اعلان.

2023،2021 ۽2022 ۾ انٽر پاس ٿيل شاگرد اپلاء ڪري سگهن ٿا.

سڀ کان پهرين اپلاء ڪندڙ اميدوارن کان ٽيسٽ ورتي ويندي جنهن مان ٽاپ 250 شاگرد ميرٽ ۽ ضرورتمند شاگردن کي سليڪٽ ڪيو ويندو،

ان کان پوء ٻئي مرحلي ۾ انهن شاگردن کي 5 مهينن جو هڪ سيميسٽر پڙهايو ويندو، جنهن م مئٿس، انگلش ۽ ڪمپيوٽر جا ڪورس ڪرايا ويندا، هر مهيني 4000 وظيفو ڏنو ويندو، انهي سيميسٽر مان جيڪي شاگر ٽاپ 100 ۾ ايندا انهن کي آء بي سکر جي طرفان فلي فنڊيڊ اسڪالرشپ ڏني ويندي 4 سالن تائين، ۽ ان سان گڏ هر مهيني 4000 وظيفو پڻ ڏنو ويندو.
